Black Mountain Falls and Lower Rock Creek Trail

This is not a beginner’s hike. There is an elevation gain of 918 feet. The trail is not well marked. There is potential scrambling over rocks and we will be exploring via bushwhacking.

Parking at the trailhead is very limited. Given this limitation we will meet at the Walmart in Fredericktown to consolidate to minimize the number of spaces needed at the trailhead.

Once we complete Black Mountain we will drive to the Lower Rock Creek Trail which is a 4.5 mile out and back hike.
