Announcing a new Meetup for The Montgomery County Libertarian Party Meetup Group!

What: April 8: FIJA event in Philly

When: Thursday, April 8,[masked]:45 AM

Federal Courthouse
601 Market Street
Philadelphia, PA 19106

Hi Folks,

This is a great opportunity for anyone who can be downtown at lunchtime, Thursday April 8th.

Fully Informed Jury Association (
The FIJA mission is to educate Americans regarding their full powers as jurors, including their ability to rely on personal conscience, to judge the merit of the law and its application, and to nullify bad law, when necessary for justice, by finding for the defendant.

Legendary FIJA activist Julian Heicklen has invited us to join his effort to educate jurors in Philadelphia. We need people to pass out literature, hold signs, video tape, take pictures and make notes.

Thursday, April 8th, 11:45 AM - 1:45 PM
Federal Courthouse
601 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106

Here is a video of Julian in action:

As you can see, federal agents don't really approve of this type activity. Julian's strategy is ignore the federal thugs, get arrested and then sue them. No one is asking YOU to get arrested. We will NOT be breaking any laws. We will merely be providing information about the rights of jurors.

Get there early. The feds might not take long to shut us down. Bring your still and video cameras.

I usually park on in the parking lot on 6th street between Arch and Market streets.
