Common Core Forum

Please join me on Wednesday, November 20th along with several of my colleagues from the NYS Assembly as we hold a forum to address concerns regarding Common Core standards at the Memorial Art Gallery, 500 University Ave., Rochester from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M.

If you would like to speak at the event, please contact the Assembly Minority Office of Public Affairs at[masked] by Monday, November 18th.

I hope to see many of you there as we discuss how to best meet these challenges facing our children, their teachers, and our entire educational system in New York State.

Hosted by Assemblyman Bill Nojay

I'm sorry that I will not be able to attend. (I'm out of town.) I am a retired college professor of engineering. I fear that this program continues us on the path of the "lowest common denominator." I cannot imagine in my lifetime that this would be policy. Our best and brightest will continue to suffer.
