This is a life drawing workshop for those of you who strive for absolute anatomical correctness in figure drawing. The anatomy for artists workshop will improve your skills in drawing the human figure both from a live model and memory. You will learn how to draw a anatomically correct figure in a friendly atmosphere without medical jargon. Together we will discuss the basics of human anatomy and the most common mistakes in figure drawing and how to avoid them. During the workshop you will be drawing from a live model. Basic materials are included, however, we encourage you to bring your own favourite drawing materials. The workshop will be run by Maria Kuzma-Kuzniarska, a medical illustrator and artist specialising in human anatomy.

The schedule will be as follows:
12:00 - 12:30 Seminar: basics of human anatomy explained (on a live model!)
12:30 - 12:45 Coffee/tea break
12:45 - 13:30 Practical: drawing from a live model

Please note that the class is available in English only. Previous drawing experience is required. Complete beginners, please book the beginner workshop before attending the anatomy class:
