During this crash course, we will learn the basics of web applications server-side development in PHP. We will start with overviewing basic topics their understanding is required (e.g. HTTP Protocol and HTML) and continue with learning basic topics in PHP, learn how to handle requests coming from a form (with parameters) and conclude with learning how to develop simple code that interacts with a relational database. Everything will be explained in class, starting with the very basic topics, such as what is a variable? what is a database? and so on.
