River Trent walk, Newark Castle - Farndon Marina 6 miles

Join us for nice walk along the river Trent from the park opposite Newark castle to Farndon Marina. This walk is offered as a local alternative to the Dalby Forest weekend for those not going on the trip. There are a couple of pubs in the marina so suitable to stop for a drink. We will not be having a sit in pub lunch due to the amount of late drop outs on walks where we have booked pubs. The walk is around an hour and 15 minutes each way. (Approx 6 miles in total) There is a pay and display car park next to riverside park shown in the photos or the train station, Tolney Lane. Meet on the grass opposite the castle at 10:00
