  1. Mā ismuka? / Mā ismuki? – What is your name?
  2. Min ayna anta? / anti? – Where are you from?
  3. As-salāmu ʿalaykum. Kayfa ḥāluka/ḥāluki al-yawm? – Hello. How are you today?
  4. Hal anta/anti bikhayr? – Are you okay?
  5. Mā hādhā? – What is this?
  6. ʿĀʾilatī – My family
  7. Hal tuḥibbu/tuḥibbī al-fīl al-wardī? – Do you like the pink elephant?
  8. Wāḥid, ithnān, thalātha – One, two, three
  9. Ayyu yawm huwa al-yawm? / Kayfa aṭ-ṭaqs al-yawm? – What day is it today? / What is the weather like today?
  10. Kam as-sāʿah? – What time is it?
