The Austin Linux Meetup Message Board › Clonezilla

I just tried out a new Open Source app that's pretty slick. Clonezilla is a disk imaging utility that will clone an entire hard drive or a single partition. The program permits creating the image, restoring the image, saving/restoring to/from network/usb/ssh/ftp/other locations. It's versatile, fast, and it appears to be extremely accurate. I've been looking for an Open Source substitute for Ghost for a while, and Clonezilla appears to be the one I've waited for. There's a corporate edition available that will push an image out to several machines, or (as I did) simply create a backup image of my entire hard drive. I think it's going to be one of my favorite apps. cool
