The Long Island Real Estate Investment Association or LIREIA continues its emphasis on member education despite hardships faced by Long Island residents and the real estate investment industry after Hurricane Sandy. Their next general meeting is on Dec. 11 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Huntington Hilton in Melville, NY. LIREIA business member Saranto Calamas will teach attendees tax- saving tips and New York state tax law changes. LIREIA will also introduce a new business member, The Good Life Services Inc. and Rich Dumaresq will explain how internet marketing drives new leads and sales.

The Long Island Real Estate Investment Association emphasizes mentorship with quality education, networking, access to industry professionals and real estate investment opportunities for its members. They have monthly general meetings and workshops in which they will continue these member services during the “Great Recession.” LIREIA’s general meetings are the second Tuesday of every month.
