COLLAGE ART WORKSHOP ✂️ With Portuguese Artist: Ana MESQ

Details
Join a collage workshop with artist Ana MESQ (Ana Mesquita) — and collaborate in the co-creation of an artwork in progress.
What is it?
This workshop offers participants the chance to first visit the exhibition Not Disposables – NOTHING AND NO ONE IS DISPOSABLE and explore the artist’s studio.
Afterwards, you’ll learn the collage technique and apply that knowledge by co-creating an artwork with the artist. (This might take the form of a paper-and-fabric tapestry, a portrait, or another piece inspired by the exhibition’s theme.)
How does it work?
Following a guided tour of the exhibition, a two-hour workshop will take place.
The artist will introduce the materials, share techniques and lessons from her practice, and explain different ways to apply the materials.
Each participant will then be invited to create a part of the collaborative artwork using the available materials and newly learned techniques.
👉 Participants should bring paper packaging from home — the Not Disposables movement begins in each of our homes.
By the end of the session, the collective piece will have progressed — a creation made by many hands.
