Kora and more: A night of Malian music

Details
West African kora player and vocalist Karamo Susso is the headliner at this two-set event at Berkeley's La Pena. The first set will consist of a solo by Karamo. For the second set, he will head up a quintet (featuring a drummer, bassist, balafon player, and an additional vocalist). I'm not familiar with this band, but have been enjoying Karamo's music online. He apparently has quite a following; La Pena predicts that this show will sell out.
COST: $27.94 per person when buying your ticket online. (Tickets at the door, if still available then, are $35 each). Buy your own ticket. And please note that this event is on a Friday.

SEATING is General Admission. La Pena tells me this will be a largely seated show, with some space on the side for dancing.
WHEN/WHERE TO MEET: Unless joining me for dinner beforehand, let's meet inside La Pena no later than 7:20 p.m. so we can be assembled and ready to enter when the doors to the performance area open at 7:30 p.m.... (The show goes from 8:00 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.)
HOW TO FIND ME: I'm WF, 5 feet tall, with short, salt-and-pepper hair and glasses. I'm usually wearing black pants and a black v-necked top. I'll send my mobile number to RSVPers prior to the event. If you don't spot me, feel free to text me or post a Comment on the Meetup Event Page.
OPTIONAL PRE-SHOW DINNER at Los Cilantros, a good Mexican restaurant inside La Pena, probably at 6:00 p.m. ..NOTE: I'm limiting the dinner to six Meetup members who don't have a habit of flaking out on events. Please respect the headcount limit for the dinner. (I will happily accommodate additional people for the show itself.)
TRANSIT/PARKING: Located on at least one AC transit bus line, and two to three blocks from Ashby BART in South Berkeley. (I think parking is on the street.)
