Walk, Talk and Fork: Crosby to Waterloo
Details
We invite you to meet friends old and new, and enjoy a Sunday morning stroll along the coast from Crosby to Waterloo, taking in Anthony Gormley's Iron Men statues at Another Place.
We will meet at Hall Road Station car park (on the Northern Line, just after Blundellsands) at 11:00am.
We will walk the short distance to the Crosby Beach RNLI Lifeguard Station, then continue to walk along the coastal path and beach past the whole length of Anthony Gormley's Iron Men statues.
Finishing at the lake in Waterloo, at 12.45, we will enjoy lunch together at The Lake House Restaurant, which is dog friendly.
The NEW ARRANGEMENT is that we will eat outside in The Lawn. still part of the Lakehouse, but less formal. Burgers and street food are available outside and there are pods to sit in if it's windy. Lovely views of the lake. NO pre-ordering is required. (if you have pre-ordered Restaurant food this booking has been cancelled)
Afterwards, travel back from nearby Waterloo Station.
Wear clothes suitable for the weather. If it is really bad, we can just meet at The Lake House at 12.45 for lunch. To go direct to the Lakehouse, use Waterloo Station or the Lakeside car park.
Whether you're humanist, humanist-friendly, just curious or even skeptical, you'll be made very welcome. We do hope you'll join us!
