There's a cafe in Kerrisdale that just recently opened up.  It's dead
quiet in the evenings and I know the owner and he'd love to have some
evening excitement here.  I would love to see a google map of
everyone's home locations... that would answer the question of wether
or not it's too far away.  I did run a LOA group in 2007 and dropped
it after three meetups.... it was way too much for me way too soon.
Maybe it's time to re-ignite that and have something here on in the
deep west side of Vancouver.

PS: It's old news now, but voting for our $120,000 Absolut Vancouver
art project goes on until March 15th, and we're currently in 3rd
place.  We're building a project website called AnimateVancouver.com­
and have been cataloguing the art we want to animate if we get the
$120,000 grant from Absolut of Sweden.  Please help me spread the
news, as this will be a great visual record of Vancouver's public art.
