Longhorn Lockpicking Club Message Board › UT Austin OWASP student chapter
Since there's a lot of cross-interest between physical security and computer security, I thought I'd let everyone know about a new group on campus, the UT Austin chapter of OWASP. As it mentions on the site, this is part of the Open Web Application Security Project, an organization focused on web security.
The information session for this new group will be TONIGHT (2/4), at 6:30pm in WEL 2.304.
I don't think I can attach a pdf to this post, but here's the text from their flyer:
> Interested in Computer Security?
> Want to be apart of a fun new organization?
> Curious about what OWASP is?
> Ever heard of XSS, CSRF, or SQL Injection?
> Want to learn about an exciting growing industry?
> Worried that software you are developing has a security vulnerability?
> Want to get some hands on experience with computer security?

Couldn't make it to the meeting on Monday, but this sounds pretty interesting. Do you know when they plan to meet? I couldn't find anything on the wiki you linked to.
