“Support Green Candidates” Fundraising Reception

Please join us at the Sierra Club Loma Prieta Chapter’s first annual

“Support Green Candidates” Fundraising Reception

on Sunday, June 2nd from 4-6 pm. Our guest speaker, Assembly member Paul Fong, will provide an insider’s view on pending 2013 statewide environmental bills in Sacramento.

Why you should come
Every year, the Loma Prieta Chapter endorses and helps to elect strong environmental candidates by publishing our endorsements and promoting our supported candidates among our 16,000 members and thousands of non-members. In the past, we accomplished this though a combination of outreach tools including our special endorsement newsletter “ Election Insights”. We need to raise $10,000 to publish our 2013 “Election Insights” issue this fall and expand our political actions in 2014.

The reception will be hosted by Gary Latshaw, chair of the Loma Prieta Chapter Air Quality Committee and leader of the Cupertino Cool Cities Team, at 11054 La Paloma Drive, Cupertino. Hors d'oeuvre and drinks will be served. Requested donation $100-$200.

To RSVP and reserve you place, please contact Justyna Guterman [masked] or (650)[masked]

If you cannot attend and you want to donate to support our effort, contact Justyna Guterman [masked] or (650)[masked]

Perhaps call the Crystal Springs Golf Course by 280 and see if they'll donate their Gazebo area overlooking the reservoir. You might want to have one reception in SF and one on the Peninsula.... Perhaps the Crissy Field Modular buildings for the SF one they have a backyard and indoor as well. Presidio Trust there. Or, try Golden Gate Yacht Club. Or, maybe the Officers' Building at Fort Mason.
