Peak Climbing Section - Slideshow on Climbing in Bolivia, by Sandra Hao

Join us for an amazing slideshow as Sandra Hao desribes her recent trip to Bolivia. Her climbing trip started with a Death Road Downhill bike ride (from 15,700 ft to 3,000ft), followed by Paqueno Alpamayo (17,619 ft), Ancohuma (21,095 ft) and Illampu (20,932 ft, with a 1000 ft 55- 60 degree ice wall from 19,000 ft to 20,000 ft, considered the most technically challenging mountain at Cordillera Real/Bolivan Andes. Wow! "Remoteness, beauty and route quality make the Ancohuma/Illampu expedition my favorite climb," says Sandra.

The photos were terrific, but the presenter was not a particularly dynamic one. Also, for my tastes, too much time was spent talking and not enough on the photos.
