Smote (+ Molch) - SOLD OUT (Waiting list available)
Details
Smote have evolved over the past three years, losing a second drummer but gaining a violinist, and their sound remains huge. Deep, booming stoner rock with folk (and folk horror) influences, great musicianship, some genuine audio thrills and few breaks for applause. They practically blew the roof off the Boat stage at End of the Road this year. Here's what they sound like:

The Opinion Of The Lamb Pt. 1 (live): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ay4anotfy8g
Support comes from Molch, who I saw in a pub earlier in the year. Similar musical genre, and their stage show is heightened by their attire, consisting of spooky skull masks. Scary!

Tickets are just over £18 including booking fee and available here. They're sold out officially, but you should be able to nab a ticket if you get on the Dice waiting list. Doors open at half seven so let's meet for a pre-drink downstairs in the Lexington at 7pm and head into the actual gig venue afterwards.
