London Trans & Intersex Pride is a free, grassroots, DIY event in Hackney.
UPDATES! There IS a parade: from Wellington Arch, 1pm, to Soho Square around 3pm (route secret til last minute to reduce chance of interruptions). Wellington Arch is near Hyde Park Corner underground station.
It focuses on creating a space for the London trans, non-binary, intersex and gender nonconforming community to come together to celebrate their identities and connect with each other.
The day will feature talks, discussions and performances in Soho Square after the march, by and for trans and intersex people.
This will be a sober event, open to people of all ages.
Satellite events at nearby LGBTQ+ venues will also be happening, including a space where there will be a bar.
The Garage, Islington; £10-20, 11pm. Featuring:
* Brooke Candy
* Chiyo Gomes
* Lucia Blayke
* (and more)!
The pride venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
There is a quiet room for people to rest.
All toilets will be gender neutral.
They will make sure the talks and performances are accessible to BSL users.
They are working on making a system with food vendors/local businesses that means people on low/no income will be able to use these services without being singled out.
Further details on the location to come.
