Trip To Westonbirt, The National Arboretum
Every year, thousands of visitors make their way to Westonbirt during October and November to experience the climax of colour before the winter sets in.
The famous Japanese maples in particular are ablaze in reds, oranges and yellows. I have been the last two years and it certainly is a festival of colour!
The cost of this magical day out is £80 which includes return train fares, taxis to/from Westonbirt, entrance fee to the arboretum and six hours of photography fun.
As with other practice events, you'll also receive:
- Bite-size tuition on relevant settings/techniques
- 1:1 time to help with your camera
- Exercises to try out and keep you focused
- A group check-in during lunch (lunch not provided)
- Feedback on your uploaded photos post-event
We will meet at Paddington at 7:45am and will return by 7:15pm. It can be a long day, so do make sure you are well rested and are able to walk a few miles or so.
Please note, that the day's itinerary will be sent to you a week before the event. Lunch is not provided. The event will go ahead whatever the weather and no refunds are available.
"Really enjoyed. Always wanted to go this place. Well organised and I was comfortable with the group. Everyone was also able to do their own thing at the same time!" mizzyb
