Dear LSR Member,
As some of you already know, I'm going to be spending my time from now concentrating on the TechMeetups Guru Program as well as my own startup. This means I'll be handing over the reins to Kaitlin Dunning who is joining us next week to run the London Silicon London Roundabout Group and our monthly events. Expect an introductory email next week where Kaitlin will let you know more about herself, I know already she'll do a great job.
The first of our monthly meetups Kaitlin will host is Crowdcamp on 4 October where you can learn about the best was to raise capital through crowdfunding, as well as how to run successful crowdsourcing projects.
It's been great to get to know so many of you this year, learn about the projects you are working on and seeing a number of them become fast growing businesses - credit to you for being such an inspirational group of people :) You can still reach me at olga[at]techmeetups[dot]com if you have any questions about navigating the "startup scene" or if you're looking for connections to help you with any aspects of your projects.
Speaking of interesting projects, it's the perfect time to mention one of the startups we've worked closely with over the past year, OpenBrand, has just launched a very useful (and free!) Delivery Service which allows someone to send designs to those who need it, together with all the source files. More info here - very much worth having a look if you're someone who works with branding.
Have a great weekend!
Olga
