This group is about to be brought back to life and not just any old life but one that is full of energy and enthusiasm.
We are going to explore the hidden secrets of London but also play the tourist every now and then exploring it like we would Paris, Rome and Budapest.
There will be walks – gentle ones that allow for chatting, socialising and for those new to walking or exercise so they can gently ease into it and longer ones for those who prefer their walks to take longer than the journey to get there ;-)
Traditions should be kept alive and we’ll do our bit by seeking out cosy pubs in winter and those along the river in summer. Of course London is home for a variety of nationals and to keep the picture colourful we shall explore international cuisines.
How about visiting historic houses and gardens? London’s beautiful parks? Let’s go and locate the oldest tree in London (a 2000-year-old yew tree) or an impressive Cedar of Lebanon and perhaps the 100 years old Japanese maple.
Occasionally we’ll get on a coach or a train and venture beyond London.
