What we’re about
This is a group for anyone who practises a Chinese Medical art in the London area. This includes Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Tui Na Massage, Shiatsu, Chinese Nutrition as well as teachers of Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Dao Yin, Shaolin and any East Asian martial art that can be practised for health benefits. The group aims to help Chinese Medical practitioners connect with and support each other. It is also a way for the London community of practitioners to publicise and become aware of events, talks and workshops that can aid in continuing professional development. It is informally linked to the London Chinese Medicine Meetup Group which is a group that facilitates practitioners to share Chinese Medicine knowledge with the public. Finally, it is a way that we can make new friends, socialise and build a greater community amongst like-minded people.
This is a group for practitioners and students of Chinese medical arts only. In order to join, you will need to provide evidence of your qualifications and/or professional memberships. If you are a student, you will need to provide some evidence of the course you are studying (e.g. letter of admission). Please send these to alexjacobsacupuncture@gmail.com . I understand that not all Chinese Medical knowledge holders will have formal qualifications so exceptions can be made in certain cases. If you think this applies to you please email me directly.
