Analogue Cuts: Less Is More - Talk by Gearbox Records

Darrel Sheinman, creator of Geabox Records, will be speaking about the art of vinyl mastering as the first in a series of interesting talks for 2014 hosted by Audio Lounge.

The event is not for profit but we do ask £5 from each guest which will be donated to our nominated charity - the Dance Art Foundation's 'Breathing Space dance-in-health programme'.
Tickets available here:

Vinyl mastering is the bridge between the artistic and production process and is an essential component of any successful recording. At Gearbox our aim is to make all our recordings sound as authentic as possible and capture the exact sound that the musicians and producers want. We achieve this by utilising an all-analogue signal path from master tape to cutting head that offers the closest possible experience to the glory days of vinyl disc cutting.

Gearbox Records is a vinyl led record label with its own analogue vinyl cutting studio in King's Cross, London. The label releases extremely high quality and previously unavailable vinyl cuts as well as the music of new artists.

Guests must bring their eventbrite ticket with them to gain entry.
