Location visible to members
This session will cover in detail the practical build up of three styles of lighting set ups and show you how you can make subtle adjustments to the lights to help you create photographs that stand out from the crowd. We are limiting number of attendees to eight so you will each be fully supported have individual shooting time and have your questions answered.
This class is open to everyone, you don't need to have any experience to attend. There will be individual shooting time and you will receive full guidance and support from the crew.
The workshop is approximately 3 hours in duration.
We will be using portable flash units as well as light modifiers to experiment with. We have all of the equipment you will need so don't worry about flash triggers, just bring your camera.
What you will need:
An SLR or similar camera with standard hot-shoe. If you have another type, you'll need to bring your own adaptor.
You will need to know how work change the shutter speed, aperture, ISO and white balance. If you aren't sure, bring your camera manual with you.
A suitable lens
Any standard lens will work; a 35 or 50mm, 17-55, 24-70 or 70-200.
A clean memory card
The model will be expecting to take away a copy of your images at the end of the session. You will need to shoot Jpeg or Raw with Jpeg so please come with clean memory cards so we can copy the images quickly.
