Animal Welfare Party talk and food

Yes I know it's right after the regular monthly visit to Pogo, and yes I know it's short notice, but come and support The Animal Welfare Party (was Animals Count) and Pogo cafe. All you have to do is come eat and listen!

I'll be there from 6:30 pm to eat - would be great to see y'all.

Here's more about the talk:

Talk by Vanessa Hudson – Leader of Animals Count / The Animal Welfare Party

We are at an exciting moment in history. For the first time ever, animal parties from five European countries are campaigning to send dedicated representatives for animals back to the EU Parliament at the May 2014 EU Elections. Those countries are Holland, Germany, Spain, Portugal and the UK. This has never happened before and, if we succeed, it would be a monumental event in the history of animal rights.

Animals Count / the Animal Welfare Party will stand in the constituency of London. We have 10 months to spread the word about our party and win 140,000 votes from Londoners. We know it can be done. The EU elections use a system of PR and no vote is wasted. There are estimated to be around half a million Londoners following some kind of vegetarian or vegan diet. We need you to help us reach them.

If you want to make a difference for the animals of Europe, please do come to this event and find out how you can get involved in making history.
