I do not use any animal products, either as food or in other form.
Falafel, hummus, lentil soup, pasta, rice, vine leaves stuffed with rice, beans and chickpeas cooked in Turkish style, tabooleh, shepherd's pie, soya kabap, cucumber-yoghurt salad, oatmeal, vegan pastry (sweet or savory), custard and many other things.
I do not eat outside, usually have my lunchbox, but I have been a few times to Govinda's and I like it.
'What about the plants then?' or 'What about the insects that die on the front window of your car?' or 'How do you supply your protein?' or 'Why do you reject the predator nature of humans, it's against the nature's laws?' or 'Why do you abstain from the pleasure of eating, the life is short?' and many more.
To socialize with other vegans; to learn about their experiences and share mine; to find ways to do organised things for veganism, e.g. education campaigns
I have been vegan since 2002. I live in Oxford and study in London.
I find the The London Vegan Meetup Group very active. However, I could not meet anybody from the group at the festival.
