Hi, thanks for visiting!
We meet on the third Thursday of every month in London.
This month (16th October) we will be joined by Hayato Shimizu and Amy McNee from DataStax, the leading distributed database technology built on Apache Cassandra. They will be delivering an awesome session as well as providing you hungry web peeps with FREE pizza and beer!
Join us from 7:00pm to chat with fellow attendees before the session kicks off at 7:30pm.
Hayato and Amy will be delivering their session 'How Cassandra Enables Today's Internet'. They will look at why Apache Cassandra is recognised as the NoSQL database of choice for high-performance, always-on applications. Hayato will cover some basics of Cassandra's data structure and architecture. Amy will then relate these foundations to specific examples from some of the world's most innovative brands, and discuss what more traditional businesses can learn from them, followed by a Q & A.
