"We Need to Talk About Kevin" by Lionel Shriver

December's book is "We Need to Talk About Kevin" by Lionel Shriver. This is a powerful book, one that has stayed with me, and although it is long, the pages fly past. Eva is writing letters to her estranged husband trying to come to terms with what their son has done - murdered nine people at his high school.

We had a great discussion. It's amazing that a book chosen many months ago would prove to be so timely in light of recent events. The average rating was 4.25!
