2025 Intermediate Beach Volleyball 2s Social Play (Free+Free Parking)

LABV "RED COURTS" - Intermediate Doubles:

Note that this event is cross promoted on several apps / platforms, so we always have a consistent group of 20+ attendees every Saturday.

Join us for a fun-filled day of beach volleyball every Saturday (year-round) for open play Pickup Games in Playa del Rey! Geared toward intermediate players looking to improve their doubles play, or advanced doubles players who suddenly find themselves with a volleyball-playing boyfriend / girlfriend who they want to improve, this event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a great workout while soaking up the sun and making new friends. Our friendly and welcoming group provides a supportive environment for players of all skill levels to come together and enjoy doubles and four-on-four volleyball on a beautiful beach with everything provided. Just bring a beach towel, your sunscreen and some water and we provide all the equipment, balls and setup. And best of all, everything is free with no fees whatsoever! Even parking on the street and in the THREE adjacent parking lots in the area is FREE (although it gets much harder to find spots after about 10am).

So, if you are looking to improve your doubles game or practice for that CBVA rating, we provide a place for you at Los Angeles Beach Volleyball Open Play Saturdays!

Weather Cancelations:
If there is a threat of bad weather on our game day, be sure to check here at meetup.com before you leave to come to the beach. We will always update the meetup event on Saturday morning around 7:30am if the event is canceled. If there is no update stating that the Saturday game is canceled, then we are still playing.
Remember we usually will play unless:
- It is really COLD (temps 50 degrees or below at any time 8am-2pm)
- It is really WINDY (wind predicted to be above 15mph any time 8am-2pm)
- It will probably RAIN (50% or higher chance of rain predicted any time 8am-2pm)
