sudden hike: Stoney Pointe, Garden of the Gods and Mt. Rexmore

BRING PLENTY OF WATER!!!!!!!! HAT, ETC, I'M NOT YOUR MOM!

On a hot day, one 16 ounce bottle per hour is recommended

----------------------------------------------------------------------

You can do all the hikes, lunch included or meet us at the starting spot for any hike at the following starting times:

-------------------------------

MT. REXMORE--7:00 PM-8:30 or so

hike gains 600 feet in elevation in 1/2 mile to the peak

Return to Santa Susana Pass road and continue west for 1 mile or so. After going over the summit, meet at the intersection of Lilac Lane and Santa Susana Pass Road, and we will drive up the paved road to the parking lots.

From there we will watch the sunset on flat rocks. Bring blankets to sit on and refreshments, dinner, etc. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY TRASH BEHIND. THIS IS A SACRED PLACE FULL OF INDIAN ARCHEOLOGICAL SITES

As Mt. Rexmore is private property, everyone is required to sign a liability waiver agreeing to not hold the owners responsible for any injuries from walking on the trails or enjoying the rocks. This is wilderness folks!

(WHY MT REXMORE? Because I bought all 118 acres last November to leave it as an undeveloped mountain park, so the name seemed literally and, and based on the price, comically appropriate.)

If you guys are up to it afterward, come over to Laurel Cyn for this small festival to raise awareness/funds to protect the wildlife corridor there from being developed. I'll be there: https://www.facebook.com/lovestreetfest/photos/a.712278378784772.1073741827.712273795451897/814312178581391/?type=1&relevant_count=1
