Post Office Roundabout

Instead of sitting on the couch all night hop on your bike and join us on a fun bike ride. Enjoy some conversations while pedaling along the route, or focus on the workout, you'll see places, & things in the San Fernando Valley from a different perspective, it's pretty cool. Plus being outside feels great!

Tonight's Route: 19.5 miles, about half of the route will be along street bike lanes, & bike friendly streets, and mostly flat so it should be a fast pace

Bicycle Safety: Click the links below and read the bicycle Rules, Safety, and Etiquette: DMV click here and LA DOT click here

The bike rides are intended to help build strength and tone our legs but it's a fun ride. No Rider Left Behind. However, you must be able to maintain the average speed, start-to-finish. Note, the rides are easier the first Thursday of the month and the distance, miles, and difficulty increases the Thursdays that follow. Most of the routes will be on bike paths & bike lanes but there will be rides that will mostly be along bike "friendly streets". We won't set any speed records and the pace will be a steady 8 to 12 mph. Riders in the mood for a little extra pedal-power are encouraged to do sprints between points. Most rides will include an option where the route can be shorten and/or riders can also turn around at any point.

Running late...leaving Pasadena now. When you say "to end of Chandler Bike Lane...", and then back to NoHo PO, are you at first traveling East or West on the BL? I think you're going West to Van Nuys...is that right?
