Make Music Downey is a free, all day, all-ages, music celebration taking place in Downtown Downey. The festival of sound will feature over 60 bands spanning 6 venues. Internationally known bands perform at the Main Stage next to an interactive vendor village featuring over 40 unique artists, crafts, and community partners. Once again Downey is joining hundreds of other cities in this annual celebration of music. First organized in Paris in 1982 as Fete de la Musique, these one-day music festivals, usually at the time of the Summer Solstice, have grown in international popularity. Whatever your musical tastes, come celebrate with us on June 14!
