We will discuss Massimo Pigliucci’s HOW TO BE A STOIC,
CH. 1 (pp. 1-15),
CH. 2 (pp. 17-26),
and the APPENDIX (pp. 233-9)

Having read Epictetus himself, it will be nice to see how a Modern-day Stoic can apply the lessons gleaned from the Enchiridion to Modern-day living. I hope the book will help members practice Stoicism outside of the monthly meetings and understand its applicability in their personal, professional, social, and political lives.

PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IF YOU WOULD LIKE A PDF OF THE READING, BUT I ENCOURAGE YOU TO GET A COPY OF THE BOOK IN DUE TIME.
