Hi everyone - I heard about the American Atheists last evening watching PBS, The McLauphlin Group. They discussed the rally in D.C., facts and statistics on atheists in America  and religious affiliation among Americans; and talked about the one US congressman who is "out", and that there are 28 more congressmen who are not out for fear they would loose their elections. I was intrigued by the discussion, and pleased see that one of the themes of the rally extols and affirms reason. There was film footage of the rally.
I want to introduce myself via this email. I am a substitute teacher, and I am looking for work. I am hoping that some in the group might know of employment opportunities. Otherwise, it will be interesting to attend a group meeting and listen to your discussions.
