Come join us to help keep the John Muir National Park clean during the shutdown of some national park services! You're welcome to visit at your convenience to help keep the park clean; we plan to meet every Saturday at 11:15am at the Mt. Wanda Alhambra trailhead (near Alhambra and Rte 4) for a hike and clean-up.
Those who are familiar with environmentally friendly trail maintenance* are encouraged to help keep the trails in good shape too, to the extent allowed by the park service. Rain or shine - we hope to see you there!

* Generally leave the land, plants, and animal lives and habitats unaffected to the greatest degree possible. Even a rotting log provides an ecosystem for local life and may be home to some animals. If something absolutely must be moved off of a trail, do so carefully and with minimal intrusion.
