In September, we will be moving our regularly scheduled monthly meeting to accomadate a special convention of Cook County precienct committeemen to elect representatives to the the State Central Committee, composed of one committemen for each Congressional district.

The Libertarian Party of Chicago will begin the meeting with some quick business before moving on the convention. Only precinct committement are allowed to vote in the convention. The deadline to become a committeeman in time to vote at the convention is August 28. If you are interested in helping the Libertarian Party of Illinois as a Committeeman, please contact [masked].

You don’t have to be a member of the Libertarian Party to attend and we encourage people of all political persuasions to attend. Here’s an opportunity to spend an evening with like-minded individuals discussing what’s important to us - Liberty!
