Auto Insurance Rates Cut for the 9th Time

The Denver Post reports that State Farm is
cutting its auto insurance rates for the 9th
time, since 2003.

The reason was the change to tort liability
from no-fault.

I have personally benefitted from this change.

Beware, there are state lawmakers who want
to go back to no-fault and you'll probably see
legislation next year to do just that.

Be sure you let your legislators know your
opinion on this.

"Whole Foods extends offer to Wild Oats

Natural-foods grocer Whole Foods Market Inc. said Monday it extended its offer to buy smaller rival Wild Oats Markets Inc., a deal that is opposed by federal antitrust regulators.

Whole Foods said it was extending the tender offer for the Boulder grocer through July 20.

As of Friday, Austin-based Whole Foods said about 58 percent of the outstanding shares of Wild Oats had been tendered or offered for purchase."

This was below the article linked above. Interesting that the Feds don't want Whole Foods to complete with WalMart, or Safeway, or Kroger. That's fine, none of them have Mackey, and they can't stop freedom of choice, try and try though they will. No whole foods, no vitamins, just Real ID, aspartame and crazy cows! And yes, Freedom costs a little bit more than slavery!
