NTU promoting "tax & spend" candidates?

Mike S.

Post #: 1
The following is my message to the National Taxpayers Union. Their email address is: (Feel free to copy and send)

Silly me, but I thought NTU was a taxpayer advocate.

Until now, all of my outgoing emails have included this link:

I say "until now" because this link no longer makes my point that
there are active presidential candidates who actually want to decrease
spending. Granted, the link needed to be updated, as many of those
running had since dropped out, but why did you remove Ron Paul who is
still actively seeking the Republican nomination and is probably the
most fiscally conservative candidate available? And what about Bob
Barr, who was elected as nominee for the Libertarian Party last month?
I'm sure he will give even Ron Paul a run for that title. If your
argument for doing this is that you believe it is only important to
show the candidates with the best chances of being elected, I strongly
disagree with your stance. Whether you may think a candidate is
viable or not, taxpayers should still be allowed to view the full
spectrum of our candidates' fiscal attitudes in order to have

Please replace the missing spending analysis of Ron Paul which was
needlessly removed.

And please have the National Taxpayers Union Foundation complete and
post an analysis on Bob Barr.

Thank you,
