De'Vine Lunch Club is about enjoying fabulous food (and wine) in fantastic restaurants around the area ... as well as making wonderful new friends. Las Vegas is now a dining and shopping destination, as well as being known for gaming. We are in search of the new restaurants that are owned by celebrity chefs as well as the small, warm neighborhood restaurants that have been here for a long time.
We try to choose our next restaurants when we are all at the table together. If you have a suggestion for a new restaurant, please let us know and we'll see about putting it on the calendar. We also occasionally book a morning brunch or breakfast or an evening happy hour or dinner. Sometimes our members organize tickets to a show. Please RSVP responsibly to all the events you sign up for since we sometimes have to secure reservations with a personal credit card. The restaurants frown on missed reservations since they prepare for our group with sufficient wait staff and employees.
There are no longer dues but we ask that you make a contribution to our club to help cover the cost of the web site. A $10-$15 donation yearly is great. But we do not want to restrict anyone from attending if they do not have the financial means to help the organizer.
It is also possible to sponsor this meetup group. If you know of anyone who would like to sponsor our group, please let us know. They will receive one year of advertising on our webpage. If the sponsor is a restaurant, we will be happy to schedule lunches at their restaurant.
Please use your face photo for your profile. Even though you may love your pet, we would rather have a smiling photo of you. Also, for privacy concerns, please just use your first name. You may use your last initial, if you like.
Anyone signing up for two events and then not showing up without taking your name from the signup list will be deleted from membership. Anyone who has more than 3 complaints from other members due to conduct or harassment will be deleted. We all want to enjoy our lunches and make new friends.
It is located on south side of Charleston in the SECOND ROW of buildings. It is 100 yards behind Fleming’s Steak House.
In addition to the bakery, there is a bistro (small restaurant) in the back which has a deli atmosphere. It serves classic French entrees, quiches, sandwiches, soups and of course their pastries and desserts. This is a repeat venue that we enjoy. Manon is their daughter’s name. Bon Appétit and RSVP with integrity.
The Peppermill Restaurant is located on “The Strip” almost a mile south of Sahara Avenue. This American diner has been serving generous portions for over 40 years. The retro, neon décor has been featured in movies, TV shows and music videos. Parking is at the front door.
