Training Opportunity: WFA

Consider this:

Hiking in to your first night’s camp on a 3 day trip, your organizer turns his head to say something to you. The toe of his boot catches, he lurches forward, pivots sideways, and you hear a loud ‘crack’ as his head hits a boulder to the left of the trail.

There he is, lying twisted and unconscious across the path. What would you do?
Even a simple, leisurely backpack can involve a sudden first aid emergency. Do you think this could never happen to you? How you respond in a situation like this can impact the outcome for an accident victim; are you prepared to act?

Wilderness First Aid training is challenging, but we make it provocative and fun. You’ll gain the skills to respond when the unexpected happens. You’ll be a part of an outdoor community that looks out for each other, so we can all play safely in those remote places we love.
