Informal meeting after the day's classes near our newest Local Yarn Store! Our Yarn Studio classes end at 1:00pm so we will reconvene about 1:15pm at the nearby Little Light Coffee Shop to socialize and continue working on our projects. Note I DO NOT work for Our Yarn Studio, I just hope we can support this independent local business so they can continue! THIS MONTH we will turn in any completed charity items, and work on the project of your choice. I'll assemble any squares into blankets for Project Linus. If you started but aren't yet finished with a charity item, no worries, bring your item next time or contact me to arrange pickup. Since we're not at the yarn store, be sure to plan ahead and purchase your own yarn and crochet hook or knitting needles and stitch markers etc. The store "Our Yarn Studio" had Knitted Knockers as a class last year so they can help you pick out your supplies for knitted (or crocheted) knockers, or you can ask me for help as well. You can go to the web site at https://www.knittedknockers.org/downloads/ to view the yarn list and download the pattern. I do both crochet and knit and will do my best to help others with issues with the Knitted (and crochet) Knockers patterns. If you are very early please come on over to the yarn store, peruse the lovely yarns and supplies, and gather at the coffee corner at "Our Yarn Studio" on Russell Parkway in Warner Robins, and feel free to bring any yarn craft you would like to work on or share. These locations are super easy to find, just an easy drive about 1.5 miles off of I-75. Please take a look at Our Yarn Studio in person or online (https://www.ouryarnstudio.com/) and see if there is anything you would like to purchase! Please also take a peek at Our Yarn Studio's class schedule and see if you would like to register to take any classes. One more thing - February was Project Linus' Blanket-thon month so if you made a square or a whole blanket to donate, please bring it and I will assemble any squares and deliver the blankets to our local Project Linus. Please bring the yarn label or a handwritten card or a photo indicating the yarn and fiber type and washing instructions for your square or blanket - note that Project Linus requests only wool-free fragrance-free machine washable blankets. I look forward to seeing you all there and crocheting and knitting together!
