Meet To Discuss and Play Games

Bring your games, bring your ideas, and be ready to try out some cool experimental games.

NOTE: The Essen Haus is closed on Mondays, so you'll enter through Come Back In. We have special permission to use the Essen Haus meeting space even though they are closed. Plenty of food and beer to be had, as the Come Back In menu will be made available to us.

Anyone thinking of coming Saturday, the parking lot will be torn up, so you'll have to use street parking. If you'd like a contact phone number, you can email me at junk at 800step dot com.

Another chance to get your game to the table!
Andrew Hanson has graciously offered his spacious, comfortable company office in Madison for our use. Bring snacks and drinks and/or we can order food or go out to nearby restaurants.
I'll be driving out from Milwaukee if anyone wants to carpool. Tell your game designer friends.
Time: Saturday, May 24 at 11am-?
Location: 307 S Paterson St, Madison- very near the last meetup.

Sounds awesome! (Of course, that's the one day I promised to drive my Dad to Montello, but hey, we'll be back before y'all finish for the... day? evening? wee hours of the morning? Tuesday? :-)

Played Andrew Hanson's re-vamped Space Colony Hex; Dustin Oakley's card-based RPG; and thanks again to both of those guys for helping with RamShrike -- now with as few as two players and no spinny-circles! (At least not in this version; trying to re-focus and simplify down to Earth ⊕ in many ways...)

Note that we have changed the location of this meet up and all meet ups going forward. We'll now be meeting downtown at the Come Back In. We'll have a full menu and beer plus room for double the people.

Love the new meeting place (course I'm super bias. How could I not love it being so close?)

The weather is really bad tonight (and bad for electric chairs)... but, the Essen Haus is really close to me (love it) so I'll watch the radar and try to dance between the raindrops

    Any idea how parking/accessibility is?

Big parking lot off Blair Street behind the joint; marked by a beer barrel, I recall, possibly advertising the Essen Haus - same place, more or less. Should be no steps.

I live right up the block Dusty. Go there all the time. No worries.

Hoping to bring a beta prototype of a 2-4 person card game. Need some eyes to see how it plays and give suggestions.
