Why run 4 to 5 miles on a Tuesday? Here's some good reasons: 1) It feels great when you're done 2) We are a very fun and friendly group of dedicated (i.e. crazy) folks who run in all weather 4) For the victory beer/snack afterwards!

We will meet at the **Brass Ring Bar and Restaurant at 701 E. Washington Ave.** The run group will congregate at the back patio near the parking lot. There is some parking there or you can park across Blount at 665 E Washington Ave and walk over. We will wait a few extra minutes for latecomers, but the run will leave at 6:35pm. Afterwards, we generally stop in at the Brass Ring for a beverage or dinner.

There are 2 routes to choose from off the Capital City Trail. In the summer, when the group tends to grow, we have a pretty wide range of paces. In the winter, our group tends to be smaller. In either case, we encourage you to check out the route beforehand. We welcome all paces, and at the end of the run, we always wait outside until everyone has returned.

Route 1
5.3 mile Around the Bay Loop.

Route 2
4.1 mile out and back to Olin Park. If you are feeling uncertain about the route or pace, this is a great route to start with.

Other folks also mix things up occasionally by going into the woods at Olin Park, or doing stair repeats at Monona Terrace.
