I have approached my company (Broadcast Interactive Media).  We are in the Hovde building (122 W Washington).

I'll let you know what feedback I receive.  Also we have an issue with secured access to the building after hours.

Subject: [webdesign-545] Web design & dev meetup: we need a host!

Dear Web Design & Development Meetup Members:

We need a host! I am looking for a permanent, downtown or central location for our meetups. Criteria are basic:

  • Room to seat about 20
  • Projector
  • Available from 6 - 8:30 pm, one weeknight per month

Please talk to your employers, colleagues, friends, etc. to see if they are interested in hosting. As you know, our meetup is a community group and not for profit. Hosts benefit from increased awareness of their company or organization, and create goodwill in the web design community.

Note: I have checked the public library and MATC, neither are options at this time.

Our next meetup is tentatively scheduled for May 14.
