Open Space & Facilitation Skills for Transition and Permaculture Groups

Jenna from Transition Initiative Rockland is excited to announce a workshop on Open Space Technology. You may remember this style of meeting facilitation that is mentioned in The Transition Handbook; it is also it's own book. Check it out here:​ki/Open_Space_Technology

On Octobe r 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00pm(ish) Lisa Fernandes of Portland Permaculture and the Resilience Hub will provide an interactive training for us. This training is geared towards folks actively involved in the Transition Town movement and Permaculture but is now open to all.  We can accommodate a maximum of 25 people and the cost for the day is $45. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch.  Please feel free to forward this email to others in your initiating and work groups.

Lisa Fernandes of Portland Maine Permaculture and The Resilience Hub is pleased to offer a one-day program to build capacity in the area of convening Open Space Events (and Facilitation in general), with a focus on the needs of Transition Initiatives and Permaculture Groups in Maine and the northeast region.
