Join author and legendary "extreme salad man" Stephen Barstow (edimentals.com) for a walk around the Arnold Arboretum, we will tour some of the arboretum's plantings and discuss the history, lore and cultivation of the species we observe. We will be joined for local context by nurseryman and perennial agriculture educator Aaron Parker (edgewood-nursery.com).

The historic Arnold arboretum is home to over 14,000 named and cataloged plants, it has been operated and beautifully maintained by Harvard University for over 100 years. There are many plants of interest including large collections of nut trees, kiwis, schisandra, medicinal plants, rare fruits etc etc etc. They have lots of great info online https://www.arboretum.harvard.edu/
