How did you find this particular group? (word of mouth? internet? etc.)

I found the group while searching for articles and information about permaculture.

What interests you about this particular group?

I'm interested in finding creative solutions to designing a sustainable lifestyle on a relatively small lot here in Maine, and meeting others who are working out the same vision in their own location.

Are you living/gardening/growing predominantly in an urban, suburban or rural setting?

I'm living/working/gardening in New Gloucester, on a one-acre subdivision lot. Deed restrictions require that 50% of the lot remain wooded, and prevent keeping livestock or poultry. The high level of shade, acidic, rocky soil, and confined cleared area have made developing much garden difficult.

I'm an artist, husband, father and work-from-home professional interested in sustainable, independant living on my 1-acre subdivision lot in New Gloucester.
