How did you find this particular group? (word of mouth? internet? etc.)

The same way I learned about permaculture

What interests you about this particular group?

It's local and vibrant

Are you living/gardening/growing predominantly in an urban, suburban or rural setting?

Rural, my family and I live on 11 acres...mostly forest, stream, and rock walls...real Maine feel. Ponds are coming as fast as my shovel can take me (pretty slow, good thing I'm not in a rush).

I'm an engineer by trade/education, but a gardener/environmentalist by heart. I started Maine Biochar as one way of helping deal with our carbon emissions and I'm an amateur plant breeder working on Maine hardy citrus plants among other things.

What Greg M. is saying about this Meetup Group

Just a great group of people. Very friendly, supportive and knowledgeable.
