How did you find this particular group? (word of mouth? internet? etc.)

I heard of the Portland Fermentory from a friend, then looked into David Homa, which led me to this site

What interests you about this particular group?

I've taken a permaculture class and was involved in a similar community in Montreal, and now I'm hoping to meet more wonderful harmonious people to build with here in Maine

Are you living/gardening/growing predominantly in an urban, suburban or rural setting?

I've been Urban, which is interesting but hard, and now I'm transient, but hoping to be working with more rural settings

I'm a maine native who came to permaculture and collective living in Montreal where i was going to engineering school, now I'm back in Maine and working towards having a food-and-energy independent farm (probably at my parents place in Pownal)

What alex b. is saying about this Meetup Group
