How did you find this particular group? (word of mouth? internet? etc.)

My friend Dave Schroeder recommended the course, he took it last season

What interests you about this particular group?

My friend Dave Schroeder recommended the course. I read some of the profiles of members of the group and I feel there is a good fit for me. I am seeking a lifestyle that is more in harmony with nature. Seems like the group is similar to me in that they want to pass on knowledge and are concerned as I am about the world in a global or universal sense; all that we do is interconnected. I know this group can teach me what I need to know and that I will be able share the knowledge

Are you living/gardening/growing predominantly in an urban, suburban or rural setting?

I live in the suburbs but I volunteer in an urban environment. Two summers ago I became involved with two community gardens. In one garden I was in charge of the donation beds for the soup kitchen and the other I am in charge of the beds for the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. Last summer after planting the donation beds a colleague of mine took over the day to day for the soup kitchen and I was able to help teach an Organic Land Care course for urban teens in Boston.

Hello my name is Eileen Fisher. I have completed the Master Gardener Program and NOFA Organic Land Care; now I would like to learn about Permaculture. I am particularly interested in working with and teaching youth.
